Wanted: A Plausible Candidate for President

It is an extraordinary fact that one of America’s two great (or formerly great, anyway) political parties cannot field a plausible candidate for the presidency. In a sane world, this fact would dominate news coverage of the 2016 presidential campaign. That is not, of course, the media world that we live in.

But some have noticed, like Michael Ramirez. Classified ad–Wanted: Democratic Party Presidential Candidate. The specifications seem modest, but apparently there is no one who can fill them. Click to enlarge:
