Trump Slips to Second In Latest Poll

The good news: Donald Trump has fallen to second place among Republican presidential contenders in today’s CBS News/NY Times poll, at 22%. The bad news: the candidate who has surpassed Trump is Ben Carson, at 26%.

Oh, well. At least Carson is a conservative. That’s a step in the right direction. Following Carson and Trump are Marco Rubio at 8% and Carly Fiorina and Jeb Bush, each at 7%.
