Meanwhile, In Other Vetting News

News is crossing the wire in the last hour about an incident in Europe aboard a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Belgrade, in which a man was subdued after attempting to enter the cockpit and shouting that “that he wished to join Allah along with all the passengers.” A Serbian handball team on the flight subdued the man, whose ethnicity was not reported by Lufthansa, though Serbian media is reporting the person is Jordanian.

However, there is this curious detail: “The man, who the Serbian press said had a US passport. . .”  We’ll have to see if this report is accurate, and just how this Jordanian came to have a U.S. passport. Seems to be a lot of this going around right now.
