Trump: Flying Or Falling?

With all that he has going against him, it is remarkable that the Trump phenomenon has lingered as long as it has. Trump is a classic “message” candidate: most people support him not because they actually want him to be president and thereby implement specific policies, but rather to send a message to…someone. Message candidates tend to fade, as Trump appears to be doing now. Michael Ramirez suggests that SuperTrump is now falling rather than flying. Click to enlarge:

It is interesting to wonder how the GOP race might have been different if the television networks hadn’t devoted more coverage to Trump than to all of the other candidates combined.
