I’m leaving the Pritikin Longevity Center and Spa in Miami in the next hour. I’ve been here for a week and am sorry to leave. It has been an eye-opening experience. I won’t bore you with the details. I will only say this. If you have high blood pressure, or high blood sugar, or high cholesterol, I think the Pritikin diet can help you. Several people here for high blood pressure, for example, have gotten off their medications in the course of their stay. My only purpose here is to encourage you to check out what the diet has to offer if you have one of the conditions that the diet is held out to improve.
The photo above shows me with Mira and Tuvia Nir, who came here from a small town north of Tel Aviv. (I am posting the photo with their permission.) Mira discovered the Pritikin program here via a Google search. They signed up for two weeks. Tuvia came here taking two medications for high blood pressure. He has gotten off the medications in the course of his stay. Another gentleman whom I met my first night here is a physician who has also gotten off his medication in the course of his stay. Everyone I have spoken to has experienced some kind of improvement. I have learned much that I wish I had known in the years before I came.
