Power Line picks — the scorecard

We want to thank all of our readers who contributed to one or more of our Power Line picks. Four of the six won last night, which isn’t bad considering that we picked three underdogs including one, Sen. Johnson, who many thought was a lost cause when we picked him.

We didn’t quite match 2014 when five our our six candidates won. I view five as an ideal number. If we ever go six for six, I’ll think we weren’t aggressive enough.

Here is the breakdown:

Senate:

Ron Johnson — won by 3.5 points
Pat Toomey — won by 1.5 points

House:

Brian Mast — won by 10.7 points
Mia Love — won by 10.0 points
Scott Garrett — lost by 3.2 points
Stewart Mills — lost by 0.6 points (about 2,000 votes)

Two of our “alums” were reelected handily:

Elise Stefanik — won by better than 2:1
Alex Mooney — won with 58 percent of the vote

Thanks again for your support.
