If you peruse Elshamy’s Twitter feed, you see the usual far left, anti-Semitic nonsense that you would expect from a CNN employee. It is almost as if Ilhan Omar were running Elshamy’s social media accounts. In fact, it includes a retweet of an Omar interview with al Jazeera. But now, Elshamy is running for cover, perhaps at CNN’s insistence. Within the last hour, he has taken his Twitter feed private:
Good going, CNN! Left-wing anti-Semites hate it when they are found out.
UPDATE: Elshamy has now resigned from CNN.
