President Biden needs pictured directions for his entrances and exits at public appearances. Someone on his staff leaked an example to Alex Thompson/Axios that we drew on in “Walk this way.”
As Biden has sought to turn his campaign into an in-your face exercise in fake populism with a little help from the Biden brain trust, I thought the old Aerosmith song would make for a perfect campaign theme. As an incidental benefit, the song perfectly encapsulates the spirit of First Son Hunter Biden. It’s a family affair. And the song was never so cool as when covered by Hank Williams Jr. at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand in 1993. It went something like this.
Walk this way, sir, through the door to the podium depicted on your cheat sheet. Walk this way with your pitty-pat steps. Walk this way in your Hoka Men’s Transport Shoes so you don’t fall over. Walk this way. Just give me a sniff!
