Musk Goes Missing

On Sunday night, fans saw the Dallas Cowboys defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-17. What they didn’t see was Elon Musk in the stands, fresh off his appearance with Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, to commemorate the July 13 assassination attempt. “NBC choose not to show Elon Musk at the Cowboys vs Steelers game,” posted former Steeler Antonio Brown, noting that “Taylor Swift gets shown every game she’s at.” Brown, a Super Bowl winner with Tampa Bay, has a point.

Swift made a fashionable entrance to watch Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs take on the New Orleans Saints for Monday Night Football,” noted Billboard, “pairing a plaid, off-the-shoulder minidress with black knee-high platform boots. But the most striking touch of her ensemble was a series of glitter freckles strategically placed across her nose and cheeks.”

If Kamala Harris had been present, the NFL would surely have given her abundant screen time and perhaps an interview. Trouble is, the California Democrat is part of the Biden-Harris administration, and early in the term, cries of “f*** Joe Biden” broke out at college football game. These were translated as “Let’s go Brandon” but everybody knew what they meant. Doubtless fearing a repeat, Joe Biden failed to show and sent Dr. Jill in his place.

At an Eagles-Chiefs contest last year, “fans started booing and chanting ‘Let’s Go Brandon,’” As Newsweekcontended, “while it cannot be ruled out that Jill Biden was booed by some individuals in the crowd on Sunday, there is no evidence to suggest it was to the extent portrayed in the video.” Jill Biden appeared at another game and was shown sitting beside NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

In late August, Kamala Harris missed a chance to gain exposure when an armed robber in San Francisco shot 49ers rookie receiver Ricky Pearsall, who miraculously survived a bullet wound in the chest. Harris, a former San Francisco district attorney and state attorney general, could have denounced the attack as “gun violence.” At this writing she has yet to decry the shooting and that should come as no surprise.

On December 2, 2015 in San Bernardino, Islamic terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik gunned down Robert Adams, Isaac Amianos, Bennetta Betbadal, Harry Bowman, Sierra Clayborn, Juan Espinoza, Aurora Godoy, Shannon Johnson, Larry Daniel Kaufman, Damien Meins, Tin Nguyen, Nicholas Thalasinos, Yvette Velasco, and Michael Wetzel. In two public appearances, attorney general Kamala Harris failed to name or condemn the terrorists, failed to name a single victim, and portrayed Muslims as the true victims of hate crimes.

With Kamala Harris, everything depends on the identity of the shooter. Pearsall’s shooter, allegedly a minor, has yet to be publicly identified. The wounded receiver has yet to be cleared for practice and did not play in the 49ers loss to Arizona on Sunday.
