The Week in Pictures: The Oakland Candidate Edition

Kamala Harris is from Oakland, and seems to be the final vindication of Gertrude Stein’s famous comment about Oakland: “There’s no there there.” There’s no ‘There’ to Kamala Harris. It is more obvious with every passing day. She’s been exposed for having to use a teleprompter for the most routine appearances. It almost makes you want to choose government-by-senility over government-by-teleprompter.
