It’s been a slightly slow week over at the new “Political Questions” substack, but there are a couple of new long form articles to note, plus some coming attractions. First, I review the latest eruption of the Democrats’ perennial reductio ad Hitlerum and what is behind it, and then it’s on to the next two rounds in what is shaping up to be a running debate over constitutional interpretation, first with John Yoo responding to my initial provocation over his legal positivism, and then “Lucretia’s” spirited response just up this afternoon.
We’re not done with this series. John is already working on a fourth installment, after which I am going to produce our first direct cross-examination. But more to the point, we think we’ll keep going until we get enough raw material down to turn it into a short book, maybe called Are Your Positive About That? The 3WHH Natural Law Dialogue, or something along those lines.
I’ve got a number of pieces in line to be posted soon, including a fresh take on the revival of “fusionism” from our Central Europe correspondent Clifford Angell Bates, a fragment adapted from my chapter in Against the Corporate Media on the latest mainstream media manipulation of the current election, and as previously mentioned another draft chapter of my memoir “All the Stars of Heaven Shall Fall.”
