Trump on the hostages

The Israeli press has reported on the treatment of their hostages by the Nazis of Hamas. The appalling emaciation of the hostages is easily explained. They were deliberately starved (Israel Hayom). The starvation was one element of the criminal mistreatment (Ynet News) to which they were subjected.

Did President In Name Only Joe Biden ever express concern over the treatment of the hostages while forcing the Israelis to feed their captors? I don’t recall that he did. If so, he didn’t make much of a fuss about it, did he? He preferred to work on deposing the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. If Biden were still PINO, moreover, he would be claiming credit for the release of the hostages under the current arrangement.

By contrast, President Trump does not seem to have struggled to see what is in front of our nose, or to comment appropriately on it — while flying to the Super Bowl, no less. The Israeli press also observes that Trump sees what they see and has even gone so far as to say it (Times of Israel). Trump is not frequently celebrated for his decency, and yet his decency shines through his comments — in an implicitly threatening Trumpian manner.
