Man about town
To the readers who emailed to say they were at the Independent Women's Forum discussion of Charlotte Simmons -- I'm sorry I wasn't able to meet any of you. I had to rush back to the office at the end of the discussion to finish preparing for a court appearance in Cleveland the following day (Wednesday).
Tonight, I will be at the inaugural party (Independence Ball, Hall A). I've never been to one of these before, but I'm guessing they're not conducive to meeting folks. Nonetheless, if you see a somewhat uncomfortable looking middle-aged guy in a rental tux, it could be me.
I'm also planning to attend the get-together NRO is hosting at Fado's across from the Chinatown metro station in Washington. I'll be wearing a grayish sports coat and probably be looking more comfortable.
