Lawyers for Fred

The Thompson campaign has announced its “Lawyers for Fred Coalition.” The impressive cast includes two of the four founders of the Federalist Society — Spence Abraham and David McIntosh, both of whom came to Congress with Thompson in 1994. A third founder, Steve Calabresi, is in the Giuliani camp.
Thompson’s coalition of lawyers also includes four prominent law professor/bloggers — Jonathan Adler, Orin Kerr, Eugene Volokh, and our friend Todd Zywicki.
Other notable figures in the Coalition include Victoria Toensing, former Attorney General Willaim Barr, former Congressman Bob Livingston, Charles Cooper, Ted Cruz, and Liz Cheney.
