The Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison, was captured on a December 2021 audio recording while meeting privately with a group of constituents who would later be indicted in the largest Covid-related fraud in America.
The scandal, known as Feeding Our Future, after a nonprofit at the center of the case, involved the theft of $250 million from government programs meant to feed low-income children.
In the recording, AG Ellison appears to pledge assistance to the later-accused fraudsters in their fight against state regulators trying to shut them down. A few days later, Ellison and his city-council-member son accepted campaign donations from many of the figure in the room that day.
