Since 9/11, many conservatives have reviewed the immigration-related issues raised by the attack on the United States and asked why we do not undertake the easy first steps to defend ourselves from the most obvious sources of danger. We wonder how it is that no serious political discussion regarding the national security issues implicit in continuing Muslim Arab immigration and travel to the United States has occurred.
