News Flash–Republicans Win!

This just in–Minnesota’s Democrats have thrown in the towel, dropping their bid to increase taxes. Senate Majority Leader John Hottinger conceded defeat to Governor Tim Pawlenty this afternoon. Not graciously, of course, but he conceded. With this victory, which never could have been achieved without Pawlenty’s courage and political skill, Pawlenty should vault into consideration for national office. The Republican Party has no more talented office-holder than Tim.
