Greetings From Bear Country

I’m on an island in Lake Vermilion, one of the large northern Minnesota lakes near the Canadian border. I’m surrounded by loons, bald eagles, walleye and northern pike, and lots of black bears. And I’ve got wireless internet access via Airport Extreme! Is this a great world we live in, or what? Still, I won’t post unless we get a rainy day. I’ll be back on Saturday.
