Steyn on Chaitred

We missed Mark Steyn’s column yesterday, but it’s still worth reading: “Bush critics live in their own worlds.” A few months back, when our radio hero Hugh Hewitt instructed us to comment on the phenomenon of Bush hatred that Charles Krauthammer has subsequently named “Bush derangement syndrome,” I dubbed the phenomenon “Chaitred” in honor of the extreme manifestation of the mania in the New Republic’s Jonathan Chait. Steyn’s column is a substantial contribution to the field.
