You think I’m kidding? Check it out. Kerry says Bush has been soft on terror, and the Spanish attacks show that “[t]he Bush administration is tinkering while the clock on homeland security is ticking.”
I can understand how attacks in other countries could possibly raise questions about their homeland security. But the fact that al Qaeda is able to pull off such attacks in Spain, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Indonesia, the Philippines, Kenya and various other countries–but not, since Sept. 11, here–would seem to be a tribute to the effectiveness of the Bush administration’s defensive measures.
