Today’s New York Post page-one runs a classic tabloid headline flagging a story with the sordid details of Jason Giambi’s disgrace of the game: “Giambi the shame of proud” — the guys writing the headlines for the paper today apparently ran out of ammo after coming up with the page-one blast.
The Post carries a companion editorial: “Tell this loser: Yer out!” What more is there to say? Say it ain’t so? Ya gotta disbelieve?
