Whose Side Are They On?

U. N. Ambassador-nominee John Bolton testified before the Senate Foreign Relations committee today. We’ll have more to say about the substance of his testimony later, but for now, I wanted to note that the proceedings were interrupted by protesters from Code Pink. I suspect that what she really means is “No USA, Yes UN.” But, as annoyed as I am by these protesters, the Democrats should be apoplectic. This is exactly the kind of publicity they don’t need, especially in a context where they are taking a position that many construe as hostile or indifferent toward American interests. If I were running the Democratic Party, I’d do everything in my power to keep Code Pink off the evening news.
