That Was Then…

This video of Al Gore excoriating the first President Bush in 1992 is pretty entertaining. His theme: the Reagan and Bush administrations failed to appreciate the monstrosity of Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq. Iraq has carried out terrorist acts and supported terrorists, has active WMD programs and is in hot pursuit of nuclear weapons. And it’s ridiculous to think that sanctions could work against Saddam.

As I say, it’s fun to watch.
