Report: Suicide Teams en Route to West

ABC News is reporting that al Qaeda and the Taliban have dispatched teams of suicide bombers to the U.S. and Europe to carry out terrorist attacks. The report is based mostly on this video, which shows a Taliban/al Qaeda graduation ceremony on June 9. As I understand the report, the video was taken by a Pakistani journalist who was invited to attend. It is of unusually good quality. The ceremony is presided over by Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed in Afghanistan last month.

Whether this represents a serious threat remains to be seen. No doubt the Taliban and al Qaeda have “graduated” many such teams of would-be terrorists.
