Al Qaeda in Iraq, that is. Conventional wisdom on the left is that al Qaeda in Iraq has nothing to do with al Qaeda and nothing to do with international terrorism, assuming that it exists at all. But someone forgot to tell the organization’s leaders.
The head of al Qaeda in Iraq has just put a $100,000 bounty on the head of Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks and his editor, Ulf Johansson:
“We are calling for the assassination of cartoonist Lars Vilks who dared insult our Prophet, peace be upon him, and we announce a reward during this generous month of Ramadan of $100,000 for the one who kills this criminal,
