Confidence in War on Terror Fading

Scott Rasmussen finds that Americans’ confidence in the progress of the war on terror is at its lowest ebb since January 2007. Currently, only 34 percent think the U.S. and its allies are winning the war, while 29 percent opt for the terrorists. That shouldn’t be surprising, with events continuing to drift in Afghanistan and negative headlines coming out of Iraq. The bottom line, I suspect, is that more and more Americans are concluding that the Obama administration isn’t serious about trying to defeat the terrorists, and therefore won’t.
