The Hinderaker-Ward Experience: Episode 8, Coast to Coast

I was on vacation for a while, first attending a board meeting at Dartmouth, then continuing on to Kennebunkport for a few days with my wife and youngest daughter. We had a great time, as always. Of course, we couldn’t hang out in Kennebunkport without paying a visit to the Bush (Walker, actually) home there. The Bush place is on a peninsula; you can see it easily from across a bay. We thought about trying to run the Secret Service gauntlet to get an interview with the Bushes–George H. W. and Barbara–but I didn’t think our chances were too good. We were pleased to find that whenever the subject came up, the Kennebunkport residents we talked with had a very high opinion of the Bush family.
Monday night we recorded Episode 8 of the Hinderaker-Ward Experience. Producer Scott Immergut dubbed the show Coast to Coast, since he and guest John Nolte were in California, Brian Ward was in Minnesota, and I was in a very cute little cottage on the ocean in Kennebunkport, Maine. We had a few audio problems, perhaps due to the geographic dispersion, but it was a fun show. We talked with John Nolte about his work at Andrew Breitbart’s Big Hollywood, as well as discussing current movies.
