Does anybody really know what time it is?

I had never purchased an iPhone app before the Obama clock arrived on the scene. Having first read about it at No Left Turns and Hugh Hewitt, I immediately sought it out and shelled out $0.99 for it.

The app provides regular updates of Obama’s approval rating, the national debt, the unemployment level, the average price of regular gasoline per gallon, and the movement in the housing price index. And that’s not all. It also counts down the time til the expiration of Obama’s term. The creator of the app is an optimist. He is of the view that it’s one and done.

The app has proved a hit, and not just with me. Neil Munro reports that the app is jockeying for position with National Geographic’s World Atlas atop the iTunes app store’s reference best-seller list. Now if we could just figure out a way to incorporate Squirrels or Doorbell
