Tight Senate race in Indiana

A new Rasmussen poll shows that, in Indiana, Republican Senate hopeful Richard Mourdock leads Democratic Congressman Joe Donnelly by only 42-40. Since this difference falls within the margin of error, Rasmussen characterizes the race as a dead heat.

Indiana, one suspects, is close to a must-win race for Republicans. Fortunately, Mitt Romney leads President Obama by double digits, 51-35, in Indiana, so I continue to like Mourdock’s chances.
