Israelis Seize Stone-throwing Palestinian Dolls

Israeli customs officials have seized a shipment of 4,000 dolls dressed as Palestinian stone-throwers. The dolls were hidden among other goods on a ship that docked at the port at Haifa, reportedly originating in the United Arab Emirates. The Guardian, which is hostile to Israel, describes the dolls:

Each of the identical stuffed toys wore red, green, black and white scarves, and their heads were covered by keffiyehs inscribed with the words “Jerusalem is ours” and “Jerusalem, here we come”. In the doll’s raised hand was a grey object clearly meant to resemble a stone.

It’s nice, too, that Palestinian parents can use the dolls to instruct their toddlers to keep their faces covered when they are committing terrorist acts. You can never start this kind of education too early.

This kind of incident illustrates why it is futile for Israel to try to reach any sort of “peace” agreement with the Palestinian Arabs.
