Ann Coulter is optimistic today: “Liberals are no longer a threat to the nation.” Why? Conservatives now have media access; “the truth is instantly available on the Internet, talk radio and Fox News Channel.” Ann recounts the liberals’ troubled history with the concept of free speech and notes how free speech by conservatives has caused problems for liberals ranging from the Dixie Chicks and Eddie Vedder to Nicolas de Genova and Peter Arnett. She concludes: “Freedom of speech isn’t working out so well for liberals now that they aren’t the only ones with a microphone. It’s not so much fun when the rabbit’s got the gun.”
