Al Jazeera moves inside the beltway

An anonymous tipster tells me that the infamous Arab TV network, Al Jazeera, is about to open a production studio and offices in downtown Washington, D.C. on K Street, a prime location for law firms and lobbyists. The tipster observes that this news can be viewed as “a vote of confidence on the security situation in DC, from some folks who ought to know.”
