Time calling, part I

I’m blogging from Rocket Man’s home office in order to simulate our blogus operandi for Time magazine freelance photographer Keri Pickett. Keri is shooting photos to accompany an article on Hurricane Dan in next week’s issue. Time reporter Viveca Novak interviewed Rocket Man for 15 minutes this afternoon. We have no idea what Time’s take on Hurricane Dan will be, and we wouldn’t want to spoil the suspense in any event. But I feel free to disclose that if Time uses one of the photos Keri is taking, it will not lend support to Jonathan Klein’s description of bloggers’ attire.
Another media update: I will be appearing on Fox News tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. (Central) tomorrow with host Pattie Ann Brown to share a six-minute segment with Newsweek’s Michael Isikoff. In another blow to Klein’s credibility, I promise to appear better dressed than the usually rumpled Isikoff. Now that I have the hang of the weirdness of an interview via satellite uplink from a remote studio, I hope that my mouth won’t be quite as dry as it was on Wednesday when I spoke with the great Brit Hume on Special Report.
UPDATE: As close readers might have guessed, this is Big Trunk reporting via Rocket Man’s portal.
