A Star Is Born

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, age 27, conducted her first press conference yesterday. It was a wonderful performance. Kayleigh McEnany did an excellent job during the latter part of President Trump’s first term, but Leavitt may be even better.

The White House is opening the briefing room to “new media” outlets, and inviting applications for credentials. Power Line clearly would qualify: we were new media back when the new media were new. I am tempted to apply, the only question being how often one of us could make it to D.C. to attend. It might be too much fun to pass up.
