Victor Davis Hanson is a classicist and military historian. In writing about the current situation in which we find ourselves with respect to our enemies and the war we are in, he brings a lifetime of learning and reflection. Indeed, in helping us to understand the challenges we face, he seems to me to be the man of the hour.
