We are delighted to welcome a new member to the Power Line team–Paul Mirengoff, my best friend from college. Paul, like the Trunk and me, is a practicing lawyer, located in Washington, D.C. He’ll be posting under his long-time nickname, “Deacon.” The origin of this nickname is lost to history, but it may stem from his physical resemblance to the great football player, Deacon Jones.
