Expecting to fly

Neil Young was born in Toronto and raised in Winnipeg. Among the roster of expatriate Canadian singer/songwriters, he rivals Joni Mitchell and Robbie Robertson in his attainments. He was to perform at the Juno Awards in his native country tomorrow evening, but underwent surgery earlier this week for a dangerous brain aneurysm: “Neil Young recovering from brain aneurysm.” Young is a restless artist of great musical gifts; we wish him a speedy recovery.
