A publicist has sent us the link to the CBS News Video site with the terrific two-part profile of Justice Thomas that aired last night on 60 Minutes. Part 1 is accessible here, part 2 here. In the profile we are reminded that Justice Thomas is a man who “deigns to think for [him]self” and and we are therefore reminded why the left tried to destroy him. The occasion of the 60 Minutes profile is the publication of Justice Thomas’s memoir, My Grandfather’s Son; Kathryn Jean Lopez observes that the book reveals “the Sowell of a justice.”
