The Romney campaign went live this morning with two new television ads. The first is called “The Romney Plan.” It is simple but effective:

This one is called “Failing American Families.” It is simple, too, and excellent, focusing of spending, debt and falling incomes:

These are good ads, I think, because they reinforce what voters already know, that Barack Obama has been a failure as president, and explain in simple terms what Romney intends to do about it.
