Reality TV star Spencer Pratt is running in the primary for mayor of Los Angeles. He will apparently test the proposition that the city is salvagable. According to AI, his “They not like us” campaign video racked up some 10,000,000 views within 24 hours of its posting on X last week. One can’t miss the righteous anger in Pratt’s tone of voice. Mister, we could use a man like Spencer Pratt in Minnesota.

Evan Milenko comments at Pirate Wires Daily this morning (emphasis in original):
The ad’s simplicity is its strength, showing how thoroughly Karen Bass has mismanaged the city, and Pratt is now forecasted on Polymarket right ahead of Bass…though behind leading candidate Nithya Raman, who is (heavy sigh) a member of the DSA. While the ad was well received by the patriots of LA (see: those who prefer their homes not burning), that might not matter — LA councilman Hugo Soto-Martínez is currently trying to open local elections to non-citizens. Hey Spencer… any chance you can re-release that ad in Spanish?
