A blast in Norman

Shawn Wasson of Bare Knuckle Politics has alerted us to an apparent suicide bombing 100 yards from the stadium where the University of Oklahoma was playing a home football game before the customary packed house: “Tragedy in Norman.” According to university president David Boren (quoted here), “We are apparently dealing with an individual suicide which is under full investigation.” Stay tuned.

The television news report notes that a second explosive device was found and detonated. Jim writes “…and little did we hear about the Oklahoma student who was arrested in August for carrying a pipe bomb in his backpack at the airport.”
