Minnesota’s former governor, Tim Pawlenty, is gearing up for a Presidential run. While he has yet to make a big impression in the polls, he is well regarded by GOP leaders around the country and is working on becoming better known to the rank and file. Today, if I am not mistaken, he is venturing into the lions’ den of “The View.”
Pawlenty’s record of fiscal conservatism is second to none; it is not far off the mark to think of him as a slender Chris Christie, except that Pawlenty has completed eight successful years in office, rather than one.
Governor Pawlenty’s new book, Courage to Stand, hits the book stores today. In anticipation of the book’s launch I asked Governor Pawlenty to do an exclusive interview for Power Line. Here is is; just click the “Play” button:
Courage to Stand is a good book and an excellent introduction to Governor Pawlenty, if you are not familiar with his personal history or his record as a legislator and governor. I recommend it.
