America’s Most Dishonest Politician

I know, that is not an easy honor to achieve–but Tim Walz wins it, jazz hands down.

Walz is running for a third term in 2026, and his fundraising machine is in high gear. Walz and his DFL colleagues raise most of their money from billionaires in California, New York and Illinois. They do relatively little grass roots fundraising here in Minnesota. They don’t need to, as Walz can count on outspending his Republican opponent by at least three to one, more likely six or seven to one.

Still, Walz has been texting the party faithful, and for some reason I am on that list. Thus, a few days ago he sounded an alarm: My Pillow’s Mike Lindell is thinking about running for governor!

My new opponent is … the MyPillow guy?

Folks, it’s Tim Walz. Mike Lindell – MAGA Republican, election-denier, and CEO of MyPillow – just announced that he’s “taking steps” toward running for governor of Minnesota.

𝗡𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝗸𝗲.

Actually, it is a joke. There is zero chance of Mike Lindell being the Republican nominee for governor. He is merely a convenient punching bag.

I’m sick and tired of rich guys like Mike thinking they can just buy their way into power. 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘵𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.

This guy has unlimited resources to blanket the airwaves with lies about my record – 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Unlimited resources? My Pillow has struggled, and Lindell has been devastated by lawsuits. With seven-figure judgments against him, his net worth is now probably negative.

Mike Lindell’s billions? A complete lie. Lindell never had more than a tiny fraction of a billion dollars, and now he is broke. The billionaires are all on Tim Walz’s side.

Today I got another text from Tampon Tim, this time about a real opponent, Scott Jensen:

Have you seen this guy?

Scott Jensen – a quack doctor who pushes anti-vax propaganda – is running to be Governor of Minnesota.

Jensen was the Republicans’ candidate for governor in 2022. Walz beat him by eight points. Jensen is trying for the nomination again, but I think is unlikely to get it. He is indeed a doctor, but not a “quack.” Do we still have defamation laws?

𝗝𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁.

I have no idea what this means. What “protections and benefits”? And what “profit”? I think Walz might possibly be talking about abortion here, but it is impossible to tell.

I won’t let Minnesota fall to a far-right grifter, but far-right groups have already funneled millions into beating me. 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸.

“Far right groups” have “already funneled millions into beating me”? That is a lie. Whoever turns out to be the Republican nominee will be lucky to raise “millions” by Election Day, and Walz will outspend him or her by anywhere from three to one to seven to one.

Tim Walz is a notorious liar, and these texts are just two out of thousands of such data points. They are revealing in one more way: the Democrats are the party of the rich, but they have no idea how to deal with that reality. Unable or unwilling to acknowledge the truth, they continue to masquerade as the party of the working class and to portray Republicans as what the Democrats actually are, oligarchs. I don’t think they are fooling many people these days.
