The Washington Free Beacon has published two intensely reported investigative stories on Maryland Governor Wes Moore’s background. The two stories — here (February 4) and here (February 10) — expose Moore as a BS artist in the first degree.
We already knew this much, as Kerr mentioned in the first story: “Moore claimed on his 2006 White House fellowship application, for example, to have been inducted into the Maryland College Football Hall of Fame, an organization that doesn’t exist; that he received a Bronze Star for his service in Afghanistan, which he had not; and that he was born in Baltimore, which he was not.” Now the Walz are closing in on Moore.
Today the Free Beacon looks back in the editorial “Wes Moore 2028 Drowning In River of BS.” It’s harsh but true — Moore’s claims, now exposed as fraudulent by Kerr, “are part of Moore’s long and well-documented history of making self-aggrandizing and provably false assertions about his biography. In that sense, the Potomac River overflowing with crap, apparently the largest wastewater spill in American history, is an apt metaphor for the governor himself.”
I think it’s fair to say that the editorial in full on the man in bull warrants reading in its entirety.
