Is ISIS here?

Watching Greta Van Susteren’s show on FOX News last night out of the corner of one eye, I just about fell out of my chair when Rep. Duncan Hunter made a point about the imminent threat that ISIS poses to the United States. “At least ten ISIS fighters have been caught coming across the border in Texas,” he said.

How does he know that? “Because I’ve asked the border patrol, Greta,” he said.

Hunter followed up with the obvious point: “If they catch five or ten of them, then you know that there are going to be dozens more that did not get caught by the border patrol.”

Rep. Hunter seems to me a sober and responsible member of Congress. You have to think someone will be following up on Hunter’s report some time soon.

On a related note, New York magazine’s Mark Cogan reports: “ISIS graffiti is cropping up in Washington, D.C.”

UPDATE: DHS categorically denies Hunter’s assertion.
