So I’m up to my gills with the first week of the semester out here at UC Berkeley, hence my posts are a little scarce and light this week. I’m trying to get one of my classes recorded on video so I might share some parts here, but I couldn’t get the technology to work in the lecture hall yesterday.
Meanwhile, some things are just too good not to share. Like this fellow, who was out and about near Sproul Plaza yesterday (the venue for constant free entertainment), apparently unaware of the news that Obama had commuted Chelsea Manning’s sentence. So I told him.
Him: “Well, yeah, maybe, but can you really trust Obama?”
Me: “You make an excellent point.” And then I walked on.
