An underlying pathology (or two)

At Eye on the UN, Anne Bayefsky has posted her detailed analysis of the official response to Ambassador Bolton’s letter regarding the map omitting Israel that was displayed at a UN event. Bayefsky writes that the response reveals “an underlying pathology in the UN system that demands attention.” Bayefsky may persuade you that there is more than one underlying pathology at work here.
