Vice President Vance has diclosed that that we have closed the deal with Iran by signing it digitally yesterday. The text is to be released later this week when the time is ripe, perhaps “some time after Friday,” as President Trump put it late this morning. Until that time, it might be wise to view this humiliating finale with the cynicism it deserves.
It would be cruel to recall that that President Trump demanded “unconditional surrender” to resolve the conflict several times in the recent past. He also urged the Iranian people to rise up with the prospect that “help [was] on the way.” Some even took him at his word.
That was then. This is now. Vice President Vance aspires to simulate the “always be closing” mode of Blake in Glengarry Glen Ross: “[—- you] — that’s my name.” Something tells me the Iranians are not imprssed by the terms and conditions to which Vance alludes.
Q: The Iranians are saying they're gonna have access to a $300 billion reconstruction fund. True or false?
JD Vance: That's the sort of things they could have access to, so long as they honor their end of the obligation.pic.twitter.com/M67lOY6QBH

Is it different this time?
Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!
