The Power Line Show, Episode 22: Apocalypse Now, With Stanley Kurtz

51LPlvouyPL._SX329_BO1,204,203,200_Last night Paul, Steve and I gathered for Episode 22 of the Power Line Show. We were joined by Stanley Kurtz, author of Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism and Spreading the Wealth: How Obama is Robbing the Suburbs to Pay for the Cities. The latter book was on the agenda last night, as we talked about the Obama administration’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rules, which potentially amount to a federal takeover of local government. AFFH could be a dynamite issue in the 2016 campaign, and for a clear explanation of what it is all about, and why it is so radical, you can’t do better than to listen to this conversation with Stanley Kurtz.

The rest of the show was devoted to the news story of the day: the nuclear deal with Iran. We reviewed the problems with the agreement, which in my view are so fundamental that the details (e.g., how easy it will be for Iran to cheat) hardly matter. We looked for a silver lining. To find out whether we could find one, listen to the podcast!
