House Democrats held a hearing today on white nationalism and hate crimes. Trying to wrench the narrative back after the stunning demise of the Mueller investigation, I suppose. Candace Owens was called as a witness, presumably by the Republicans. Check out her opening statement, in which she let the Democratic Party have it with both barrels. It is one of the most righteous performances you are ever likely to see:
“The hearing today is not about white nationalism or hate-crimes, it’s about fear-mongering, power and control.”

UPDATE: Later on, a dimwitted Democrat tried to claim that Owens has expressed admiration for Hitler. Or something. This gave Owens an opportunity for another fiery oration, briefly interrupted by a futile attempt by Jerry Nadler, the committee’s barely normal chairman, to shut her up. She makes both Congressmen look like idiots:
